We've built tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, navigation forms, application code with Visual Basic for Applications ( VBA ), and linked to and imported/exported to and from Access from Excel, Fox Pro, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server and text files, and we've migrated Access databases to upgrade versions. We've used every version of Access from the very start with version 1.0, in 1992, and we are now working full time with the latest version of Access.
Our developers have experience working "in-house" for large IT departments and for small companies, and as independent consultants/contractors. We charge out services on an hourly fee or per project basis. We provide our services for you entirely off-site, which means we will consult, design, and develop your database at our facilities, then deliver the database to you.
All our database developers have a minimum of seven years database development experience with Microsoft Access, or SQL Server. In addition, our developers belong to professional organizations, publish articles and provide training lectures for user groups. Scott Walker, CEO and Director of Technical Services
Scott started developing with Microsoft Access in version 1.0 in 1992 and has programmed using every version
of Access. He has developed hundreds of large custom applications utilizing MS Access and SQL Server in both IT environments
and as a consultant. He also has extensive experience in marketing, web site design and development, and search engine optimization.
Scott currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Portland Access Users' Group
(PAUG) as the organization's Secretary and "loaned" PAUG his website design for their site. Scott is also active with Access user
forums and article writing and is a member of the Portland SharePoint User Group and the Microsoft Azure User Group.
Geoffrey Hollander, Senior Consultant
Geoff has developed hundreds of Microsoft Access projects with 15+ years experience developing Access applications. Geoff specializes in
data cleaning and Access add-in development with his company Northwest Database Solutions. Geoff is the Vice President of the Portland
Access Users' Group, and a member of Association of Database Developers, a past President of the Santa Barbara Postal Council,
and is a well known technical presenter and moderator at Access technical meetings in the Pacific Northwest. Geoff has also
published several training articles and database development product reviews.
